Chi è Francesca Arena?

Francesca Arena è una illustratrice ed una fumettista italiana.
Nata e cresciuta tra Roma e Genova, ad oggi vive e lavora a Milano da ormai diversi anni. Francesca ama disegnare in miniatura, esclusivamente a mano, e scrivere fumetti prevalentemente umoristici.
Il suo stile è frammentario, per lo più ironico, ma le piace usare dettagli realistici per enfatizzare il contrasto.
Oltre a collaborare con riviste e giornali come Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, Zeit Verbrechen, Corriere della Sera, Rivista Undici, The Passenger by Iperborea e molti altri, si occupa anche della produzione di fumetti indipendenti e ha recentemente pubblicato un libro per Rizzoli Lizard.

Who is Francesca Arena?

Francesca Arena is an illustrator and cartoonist.
Born and raised between Rome and Genoa, she has now been living and working in Milan for a long time.
She loves to draw in miniature, exclusively by hand and writes mostly humor comics.
She works with magazines and publishing houses. Her style is scrappy, mostly ironic, but she likes to use realistic details to emphasize the contrast.
In addition to collaborations with magazines and newspapers such as Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, Zeit Verbrechen, Corriere della Sera Rivista Undici, and The Passenger by Iperborea among others. She works on the production of independent comics and has recently published a book for Rizzoli Lizard.
